Wayward Wheels

Wayward Wheels was founded by professional skaters Benny Fairfax and Andrew Brophy, who are also close friends. The two first crossed paths in London during the early days of their professional skating careers. Years later, Benny and Andrew met again in Los Angeles, resolved to create their own skate brand. As neither of them had a wheel sponsor at that time, it presented the ideal opportunity, leading to the creation of Wayward skateboard wheels.

Since its inception, the company has been celebrated for its high-quality urethane wheels, distinct designs, and diverse colourways. Andrew Brophy reveals that much of the inspiration for the logo, graphics, and colour schemes is drawn from car racing and the 1980s.
