SkatePro is using Altapay and Braintree as a transaction-gateway. Both Altapay and Braintree are certified by the key security standard within the payments industry (PCI DSS certified as Level 1 Service Providers). They also comply with the European Union regulation applicable to the provision of payment services (Directive EU 2015/2366).

All information you provide during checkout is encrypted using advanced SSL/TLS encryption. The payment details can only be read by Altapay/Braintree, meaning that SkatePro can never see your credit card details.

The amount of your payment is reserved by Altapay/Braintree, and is only deducted from your account, once your order is shipped. SkatePro can never charge more than the amount of your purchase.
