Ski Mid Layers Are Ideal for Keeping You Warm

Ski mid layers are perfect for maintaining warmth while you're in the mountains for your ski or snowboard holiday. As the name implies, it is the intermediate layer between the base layer and the outer layer (ski jacket). Mid layer pants serve the same purpose for your legs.

The material of mid layer jackets can range from merino wool, fleece, polyester, to softshell fabric. Depending on your requirements, each type offers varying levels of warmth and breathability. An advantage of having this as a separate layer is that it can be removed and put back on as needed, based on your body temperature. They can be easily stored in a backpack or left in the ski chalet for the afternoon.
