1. What we collect
When you create an account, order, contact us or subscribe to our newsletter - and automatically when you use the site:
- Name, address, email and phone number
- Order details (card details go straight to our payment provider; we never store them)
- IP address, device and cookie data
- Your behaviour and product preferences on the site
Fields marked as required are needed to complete an order.
2. Purposes and legal basis
We use your data to:
- Deliver and administer your order, incl. returns and customer service - contract
- Meet accounting and other legal duties - legal obligation
- Operate, secure and improve the site, and prevent fraud - legitimate interest
- Send newsletters and other direct marketing - consent
- Run analytics and advertising, and profile your interests, purchases and preferences to personalise recommendations and ads - consent, via the cookie settings
Profiling only affects what you see. It has no legal or similar effect on you, and you can switch it off in the cookie settings.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies, including local storage, to run the site, remember your choices, analyse use, and deliver and measure advertising.
Accept or decline each category, and change or withdraw consent, at any time in the cookie settings. The panel lists every service we use, its category, what it stores and for how long. It forms part of this policy.
Some analytics and advertising data is processed on a server rather than in your browser: it goes first to a subdomain of our own site, then to the providers listed in the cookie settings. Your choices and the purposes above are unaffected.
4. Who we share with
Only where needed to deliver what you ordered, where the law requires it, or where you have consented:
- Logistics and shipping companies
- Payment providers and banks
- IT, hosting and customer service suppliers
- Analytics and advertising providers (with your consent - named in the cookie settings)
Where you consent to marketing cookies, contact details such as your email or phone number are hashed before we share them with advertising providers - turned into an irreversible string, so they never see your readable details. It is used only to measure whether an ad led to a purchase. Hashed data is still personal data and covered by this policy.
5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some providers are based or process data outside the EU/EEA. Transfers rely on an EU adequacy decision or the Commission's standard contractual clauses plus any extra safeguards required. Providers are listed in the cookie settings.
6. Retention
We keep data as long as needed for its purpose or required by law:
- Accounting records: 5 years from the end of the financial year
- Purchase history: up to 5 years, for customer service, warranty and spare parts
- Newsletter, review and consent data: until you withdraw consent
- Usage data: per service as shown in the cookie settings; account and behavioural data deleted after 1 year of inactivity
- Otherwise: longer only to establish or defend legal claims

You can:
- Access your data
- Have errors corrected
- Have your data deleted
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing
- Object to direct marketing, including profiling for marketing, at any time - we will stop
