Team SkatePro Q&A
Q: What got you into scootering?
A: I started because my classmates started, and I instantly got crazy about it. When I was a kid, my dream was to be good at scootering and learn certain tricks that I never thought I would be able to do today. When I reached those goals, I decided I would push myself even further by being one of the best in the world and, eventually, go to the Olympics.
Q: Do you have any side interests apart from scootering?
A: PlayStation, and reading the manga Chainsaw Man.
Q: How did you find out about SkatePro, and what do you like the most about being a SkatePro team rider?
A: SkatePro was the number one skate shop in my mind since I started scootering. I like how SkatePro is looking out for me, giving me the chance to compete better with fresh new scooter parts.
Q: We’re so happy about your contribution to our SkatePro Scooter Signature Griptape series: why did you choose the lion graphic?
A: I have a lion tattooed on my leg, so I like it to be on my signature scooter parts.
Q: You recently won the Danish Scooter Championship (congratulations!): how was the atmosphere during this competition, and what’s the craziest trick you’ve seen (apart from yours ;) )?
A: The atmosphere and the hype were awesome. We all pretty much did a perfect run, so it was very tight. I saw tricks like bri unless kickless air, dub flairs, and front flair which were pretty rad.
Q: Scootering is getting more and more attention, so many young people are getting into it: why do you think this is?
A: Scootering is a lifestyle sport like skateboarding, BMX, and inline skating. The reason why kids and teenagers get into these things is because it’s cool and it's fun.
Q: We know you basically built the scootering community in Herning: how did you do it?
A: Being good at scootering, I guess!
