G13 Inline Skate Wheel

Advanced wheel for speed skating. Engineered with the four-component TR3 system "Core improvement" and G13 Polyurethane. The Matter laboratories, in collaboration with the Powerslide Matter racing team, are very confident that this wheel will lead track and road racing for many years ahead.

The G13 PU provides excellent grip, whilst never compromising roll, offering superb momentum out of turns. It incorporates S.E.R.T. technology, an abbreviation for Stored Energy Ring Technology. This technology is best explained by the engineer responsible for the wheel - Neal Piper:

"One of the most pivotal structures in any inline racing wheel is the transition layer where a softer structure melds with a much harder mounting base. This is an essential energy management zone for a wheel. At this crucial hinge or pivot point, the power of the push and the 'stored rotational energy' within the deflected tyre must not be lost. If a transition or mounting layer between the PU tyre and harder plastic hub is properly constructed, it allows for a perfect balance between tyre flexibility and energy release across the entire wheel."
