The most prominent improvements include the widened width and revamped design around the headtube area. With a new 84° headtube angle and reinforced construction in this region, it results in a highly technical deck that can genuinely endure the heavy strain from rigorous usage. AO had this tested by their most demanding riders, who successfully rode the deck for over 6 months without any signs of cracks or bends.

The rear dropouts are box-cut with robust inserts, which help maintain their shape, and if they wear down, replacements are always possible.
