Skateable Masterpiece by Powell Peralta x Levon Biss
The Biss Flight deck by Powell Peralta essentially serves as a skateable masterpiece, incorporating all the established Powell Peralta skateboard technologies.
The artwork on this deck is crafted by renowned British photographer Levon Biss, whose creations have graced the covers of TIME and The New York Times magazines. Currently, Levon is captivated by the natural world, with a particular focus on detailed insects. Each image requires over four weeks to produce and comprises more than 8000 individual photographs.
The Flight deck is designed to be thinner, stronger, and more durable than the conventional 7-ply deck, owing to its 2-plies of epoxy/fibreglass. This construction also enhances rebound and snap—ideal for achieving greater height on your Ollies.
