Topaz Roller Derby Skates

Sitting just above the middle tier of the Derby specialised quad skates in the Chaya lineup, these Topaz skates offer an excellent foundation to advance your skills while remaining budget-friendly. One of the coolest features is the ability to upgrade the plate, wheels, and other components, allowing for a more personalised style and enhanced performance, should Roller Derby capture your passion.

The boot is fashioned in a low-slung sneaker-like profile and is covered with Polyurethane Nano Leather, which is both soft and robust against wear, whether from Derby rink floors or contact with other players. The Poron/EVA padding is remarkably soft and provides comfort for extended skating sessions with minimal to no discomfort. To further perfect the fit, Chaya has designed the boot and liner to be fully heat-mouldable, offering that second-skin fit. Its low cut is ideal for optimal manoeuvrability.

For the Topaz, Chaya has chosen their Zena plates, noted for being incredibly durable and lightweight. These plates are compatible with Chaya's unique Dual Centre Mounting, allowing you to adjust the boot angle according to your specific riding style. The Power toe system enhances power, speed, and control while maintaining a slight muscle pre-tension for quick reactions and swift directional changes.

The trucks, crafted from aluminium, are set at an angle of 20º.

The Octo Edge wheels have a wide profile and excellent grip, featuring a 92A durometer.

The Chaya Cherry Bomb toe-stopper provides additional control and manoeuvrability. The semi-soft Jelly Interlock bushings strike a perfect balance between comfort and control. The Wicked ABEC7 bearings ensure effortless rolling speed.
