Ophira 45 Roller Derby Plate Set

The Chaya Roller Derby Ophira 45° plate is a formidable component designed for enjoying yourself on the Derby track. Weighing merely 545 grammes per complete plate (size 6), it is exceptionally lightweight. This is achieved through the utilisation of 7075 grade aluminium, which not only contributes to its lightness but also ensures it is robust and long-lasting.

A standout aspect that differentiates this plate from others is its Dual Centre Mounting – exclusive to Chaya. This two-bolt mounting system simplifies attachment to the Chaya boots. Additionally, it has pre-drilled slots for securing regular boots.

The Ophira 45° Plate set includes standard hangers with standard thread/nut wheel mounting. Although marginally slower than Chaya's quick-axle systems, it is noted for its strength, durability, and familiarity to most.

On the Ophira plate, the Power Toe System facilitates improved propulsion and increased manoeuvrability.

The Cherry bomb toe stop is offset to enhance power transfer, provide better balance, and allow more controlled stops. Its flat surface offers excellent grip in an array and delivers superior durability.
