Lambda 3.1 Pro Scooter Deck

The objective in designing the Lambda 3.1 deck was to enhance both strength and reduce weight. Many conventional necks penetrate the centre of the pro scooter deck, which results in a weak spot. AO employs a U-shaped welding technique that minimally impacts the deck while considerably increasing the welding area. The headtube is crafted from a single piece of aluminium under 5 tonnes of pressure; the same applies to the neck! This leads to support beams that are 30% stronger.

Additional enhancements include a machined headset aperture post-anodising for exact fitment, the neck being repositioned forward to maximise deck space, and an angular shape beginning at the beam to avert any bending of the edges.
