Nova 2018 Womens Waist Kitesurfing Harness

The Ion Nova waist kitesurfing harness tailored for women targets freeride, wave, and freestyle kitesurfers.

Its design features EVA foam, an x-shaped internal support, and soft edges, making it an exceptional piece of kitesurfing equipment with enhanced control, comfort, and flexibility.

The Nova includes Ion's C-bar technology. Utilizing the C-bar system, the spreader bar is constructed not from metal, but from reinforced injected fibres, resulting in a very lightweight structure. The spreader is equipped with a tension lever system that secures the harness snugly.

The build prioritises comfort through an internal EVA layer.

• X Spine

An EVA thermo-moulded insert, x-shaped, optimises back protection while keeping the harness flexible for an unrestricted range of motion.

• Soft Edge and Extended Soft Edge

The edge surrounding the harness is crafted with extra soft neoprene and enhanced by a specialised foam for maximised wearing comfort. The Soft Edge flexes laterally at the hips and ribs for added comfort.

• Split Edge

The Split Edge, a divided buckle plate, allows the harness to contour more precisely to the body, enhancing comfort and power transfer significantly.

• HPL Slider

This feature is a slim handle at the back with an integrated stainless steel ring to attach the handle pass leash.

• Belt Garage

Pockets that shield and protect the buckles come with a rubber patch, allowing easy storage of the webbing.

• Kite Knife

In emergency situations, having a kite knife to cut the lines can be crucial. This harness includes a built-in kite knife.

• Invisible Seam

These seams provide a smooth transition from the central section of the harness to the neoprene soft edges.

• Bar Keeper Belt
