Description
Through a focused collaboration with Team Rider Ed Zunda, WeThePeople have produced this street-ready freestyle BMX frame. Ed was clear about his requirements, and the outcome is a short rear end at only 13.2", enabling you to perform tricks super-fast whilst maintaining balance.
This Awake BMX frame features a steep angle on the fresh 127mm tall hourglass-shaped headtube of 75.5°, which brings in the balance point slightly and offers Ed the platform necessary to execute his tricks.
For the 2018 version, the Awake incorporates several updates, including the re-designed headtube. These modifications include a taller standover height of 9" and 7.5mm thick invest cast dropouts, which have integrated chain tensioners for an exceptionally street-ready outcome.
