There are panels adjacent to the zipper on the back that prevent water infiltration.

• Robust

The knee regions are reinforced with L-Tex nylon, boosting durability and protection.

• Aqua-A

All Ion wetsuits use Aqua-A, a solvent-free, water-based adhesive.

• Seam reinforcements

Melco tape is applied at stress points within the wetsuit to enhance durability. Ion advises: “If the suit is left in the boot of your car on a hot day, the tape may begin to peel. Do not worry! Carefully use an iron over the affected area, as the adhesive is activated by heat.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits that follow body contours increase flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits feature a contour cut.

• Drain Holes

Drain holes are integrated to prevent water from collecting at fabric overlaps. These openings will not expand.

• Leg Loop

There are detachable velcro loops at the lower part of the legs to prevent water from entering the wetsuit from below.

A webbing loop at the neck of the wetsuit allows you to attach Ion sunglasses.
