Onyx Element Shorty 2mm Chestzip 2018 Wetsuit

The Onyx Element features a chest zip that improves comfort and warmth over traditional back zip options. The chest zip prevents the possibility of water flushing through the neck area.

An ideal selection for a wide range of watersports due to its impressive flexibility and comfort.

Features:

• Aqua-A

Aqua-A is a water-based adhesive free of solvents, utilised in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

To bolster high-stress areas inside the wetsuit, Ion has added Melco tape for enhanced durability. Ion advises: “If you unintentionally left the suit in the boot of your car on a hot day, they might start to peel off. Don't worry! Carefully iron over the affected area, as the glue is activated by heat.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits following body contours, increasing flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits are equipped with contour cut.

• Drain Holes

Drain holes are incorporated to prevent water from accumulating where fabrics overlap. The drain holes will not enlarge.

• Supra Tex

Fabrics used for more exposed sections on the wetsuit - such as knee areas. The Supra Tex fabric is more resistant to abrasion.
