Onyx Element 3mm Chestzip 2018 Wetsuit

A neoprene wetsuit crafted for a snug fit. This Onyx Element boasts a 3mm thickness and features a chest zip with a flip-over design, providing an improved closure system to prevent flush-throughs at the neck area.

Features:

• Aqua-A

Aqua-A is a water-based, solvent-free adhesive employed in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

To bolster the wetsuit’s stress points, Ion has integrated Melco tape to enhance durability. Ion notes: “If you accidentally leave the suit in the boot of your car on a hot day, they might start to peel off. Don't panic! Use an iron gently on the affected area as the adhesive is reactivated by heat.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits tailored to follow body contours, improving flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits feature a contour cut.

• Drain Holes

Drain holes are incorporated to prevent water build-up where overlap fabrics are present. These drain holes will not enlarge.

• Supra Tex

Materials used in more exposed sections of the wetsuit, such as knee areas. The Supra Tex fabric offers increased abrasion resistance.

• GBS - Glued Blind Stitched

To bond neoprene panels effectively for exceptional water resistance, gluing is used alongside blind stitch sewing to connect the panels.
