Instructions:
Basic trick scooter assembly knowledge is required. We suggest reviewing our guide before commencing. Read Assembling a custom scooter here.
Upon receiving the kit, first clean your old scooter and detach the old headcups from the headtube.
- Use a screwdriver to remove them and a hammer to install the new ones. Place a wooden block in between to prevent scratching the deck or new headcups.
- Fit the headset bearings into the new headcups.
- Next, gauge how far the new pro scooter fork extends into the bar, from the top of the headset up to the starnut, which is pre-installed inside the bar.
- Ensure the compression bolt can attach to the starnut to streamline the entire system. If the starnut isn't sufficiently elevated, use a screwdriver to position it deeper. Should the starnut be too high within the bar, utilise the included replacement starnut.
- Adjust the compression until it spins to your liking.
