If you purchase this service, SkatePro will assemble and test your custom scooter.
It is necessary that you have all the parts required to assemble a custom scooter (either you supply them to SkatePro or order them in conjunction with this service).
A custom scooter is generally constructed from these components:
- Scooter deck
- Brake (sometimes included with the deck)
- Rear axle hardware (frequently included with the deck)
- Fork with axle (please be aware of which size wheels are compatible)
- Bar (if you opt for an oversized bar, be sure to choose an oversized clamp as well)
- Clamp (one or more. If you opt for an oversized bar, be sure to choose an oversized clamp as well)
- Grips (possibly also Bar-Ends if they are not included)
- Headset
- Grip tape
- 4 bearings and 2 pieces of 8mm spacers
- 2 wheels (ensure that the size fits the fork)
- Compression kit
Important Considerations:
- Building custom scooters necessitates specialised tools and a patient approach. We suggest that only a skilled individual undertake the assembly of a custom scooter.
- The assembly of a custom scooter is a service, and thus, it is non-refundable.
- Once the assembly process has commenced, the scooter and its individual components are non-returnable. Dismantled parts are considered used and are therefore non-returnable.
