Drifter 2018 Kite

A stable and responsive kite for kitesurfing from Cabrinha. The Drifter is crafted for wave surfing and freestyle surfing, offering excellent control and pop.

The Drifter kite is constructed with Pure Profile Panels, superior power delivery, and commendable Slack line Drift. It offers a wonderful experience focusing more on the waves rather than the kite's position in the air, thanks to a consistent pull and power for your tricks and cutbacks.

Features:

• 1X Security

Activating the 1x security system instantly neutralises the kite's power, allowing it to remain motionless on either water or land.

• Dynamic Arc

This innovation enables the kite to possess two distinct arc shapes.
One arc is formed when in flight and alters when resting on the water, making relaunching more efficient.

• High Tenacity Dacron

The material Cabrinha employs enhances maintaining the structural integrity while also resisting deformation during flight, reducing elongation to yield precise and predictable kites.

• Onshore/Offshore

The Drifter kites integrate this technology. The offshore setting enhances performance for side shore and offshore wind surfing, facilitating improved upwind ability for manoeuvring in offshore winds. The onshore setting enhances surfing in side shore and onshore winds, maximising "drift" and allowing tighter turns.

• Power Control

Each “pig tail” connector for the kite's rear lines offers three power settings. The centre position is factory-recommended. Select the knot nearest the kite for increased power, or the one nearest the rider for reduced power.

• Pure Profile Panels

Cabrinha strategically positions panels to provide the kites with the required stable aerodynamic profiles, enhancing efficiency, performance, and its range.

• Skeletal Frame

This technology ensures the kite's structural stability during use and facilitates easier relaunching.

• Slackline Drift

This feature of the Drifter kites parks the kite afloat longer when the lines slacken, allowing you to concentrate entirely on riding the waves.

• Sprint System W/ Airlock

The large airlock system enables rapid inflation and swift deflation after sessions. Lock each strut to maintain your kite's frame rigidity and isolate any accidental strut deflation from the remainder of the kite.
